What do you do when you forget your favorite game at home while vacationing abroad?

Make your own version, of course! Brent Bushnell tweeted me over the weekend and linked to a blog post detailing his experiences creating his very own custom-made Anomia deck! I have to say I am completely blown away and even a little touched by his efforts!

I'm also excited to take a look at the Google doc he created listing all the categories they came up with. Take a look at Brent's blog post here.

Hi,

While creating a set of categories to create some additional decks, I cam across thin link in your blog. Found many overlap with this fan's set, some that I didn't have, and kept on going to make more and more. I have about enough for three decks, but wanted to get opinions before I made some of my own.

Thanks for your comment, we'd love to see your list! We have a big expansion of Anomia coming out next year, 6 all-new decks! I'm curious to see the overalp between the new decks, your categories and the ones made by Brent.

Hi - I reposted the page that I put together to have a couple friends help me play test these (only had it online for a few weeks) - we've removed several that are either too difficult to understand quickly or that just don't lead to decent responses:
